That's another JD Nationals in the book.  Congratulations to Regina Diving for sending a record number of athletes to nationals this year, exceptional!

Diving is a tough sport, both mentally and physically.  They train for years for that one chance (about a total of 15 seconds) to prove that they are the best, and they did.

​

Congratulations to all those that competed at this years event, and a special note to our medalists.

Another Elite Nationals comes to a finish.  However, this year....  a month earlier than usual.

Most divers strive for perfection, elusive as it can be, in the eyes of the judges.

​

Bjorn Markentin of the Regina Diving Club is among the few who can claim across-the-board perfect scores.

​

Markentin was awarded five 10s from national-level judges after completing a reverse with two and a half flips off the 10-metre platform in the men’s open division of the Western Canada championships on the weekend at the Lawson Aquatic Centre.
