WHO ARE WE?

Regina Diving is Regina's only competitive and recreational diving program. All of our regular season Recreational Lessons are run out of the Lawson Aquatic Center, with the addition of outdoor pools during the summer! We offer lessons as young as 4, with life jackets provided by the Lawson when necessary. Are you an adult with the urge to learn some new tricks? We've got you covered with our Adult lessons that run once a week.

Our Competitive Programs start as young as 5 years and we are committed to Long Term Athlete Development. Our Club has been the birthplace of many athletes who went on to be named to the Canadian National Team, winning both National and International Medals. We have also had many of our athletes receive Scholarships which allows them to continue their training while getting helped to receive their University education.

2023 Canadian Junior Nationals

Lila - 1st B Platform Finals

We had 10 athletes and 3 coaches attend Junior Nationals in Montreal this July. From Veterans to rookies, our Club had it all! We couldn't be prouder of our team, they put in a lot of work this season and it showed. Regina Diving made 9 Finals, including 4 gold medals and a silver medal. All l of our athletes have something they can be proud of during their time in Montreal this summer, regardless of results, and our three rookies in attendance all showed some great promise for the future.

Finalist Highlight

Claire Werner made her first National Finals in the Women's A 1m event. It was a feat just to get into this Final as there were over 30 girls in the preliminary event. Claire trusted her training and put down a consistent prelim and final, earning herself an 8th place finish in the Finals!

In the A 3m Final Brooklyn Markusson showed everyone what she's made of after a falter in her hurdle in her third dive, she came back strong and finished the competition with two great dives finishing in 10th place finish. Two days later Brooklyn was up on the towers putting down some amazing dives and earning herself an 8th place finish in the Finals in a strong field of athletes.

Lila Stewart showed everyone that despite some injuries in the past couple of years, she was back and better than ever! Lila wowed the judges and earned her place as the National Champion in the 1m, 3m and Platform for Girls B; those performances had Lila breaking Provincial Records and earning herself a spot on the Junior PanAmerican* team where she will compete on all three boards. And if that wasn't enough, Lila finished off her week of competition by also earning the Outstanding B Female and the Top Compulsory Award.

Hard work pays off for Lauren Vickaryous in the Girls C 3m event, Lauren not only finished the event as the National Champion, but also broke a Provincial Record and earning herself a spot on the Junior PanAmerican* Team. Lauren's silver medal performance in the C Platform Finals allows her to compete for Canada in Peru on the platform in addition to the 3m. To round out her week in Montreal, Lauren was presented with the Outstanding Diver for C1 Females award for placing first in all C1 preliminary events.
