Volunteers Needed

Dear Regina Diving Club Families,

As we prepare for a busy and exciting co

mpetition season, we are looking for a few parents to step into important volunteer roles that help our meets run smoothly and successfully.

Sponsorship & Fundraising Committee (2 Parents)

We are looking for two additional parents to join our Sponsorship & Fundraising Committee. This committee:

• Helps secure sponsorship for our hosted meets

• Organizes club-wide fundraisers

• Coordinates the raffle table at competitions

We are especially in need of someone willing to help lead the raffle table during competitions. This role includes organizing raffle items, and coordinating ticket sales volunteers. This can be a shared position. 

This committee plays a key role in supporting club revenue and keeping costs manageable for families. We currently have 4 people on this team and need two additional parents. 

Equipment Team (2 Parents Working Together)

We are also seeking two parents to serve as our Equipment Team leads for competitions.

Together, these two parents would:

• Coordinate a small group of volunteers for meet set-up and take-down 

• Moving trampolines dry-boards, and mats etc. 

• Placing tables, bleachers, chairs and extension cords

• Ensure the pool deck is competition-ready each day

• Serve as the first point of contact if a facility issue arises

• Work with the Meet Manager and Lawson staff to find solutions

• Allow coaches to remain focused on athletes

Between the two volunteers, one person must be present at the pool from competition start time to end time each day of the meet.

This role is incredibly valuable in reducing stress on coaches and ensuring a professional, well-run event for athletes and families. No prior experience or knowledge is needed.

Hosting competitions is a major part of what keeps our club strong and sustainable. When parents step into these leadership roles, it truly makes a difference for all of our athletes.
